StreamSolutions CDS Scheduling.
The StreamSolutions CDS system is unique to the Streaming Industry and to allow the professional broadcaster even more flexibility the scheduling system is available.
Using the StreamSolutions basic & advanced scheduling systems you can play adverts/tracks at time & dated intervals when using our CDS giving your broadcast that extra professional feel. Alternatively you can use the scheduling system to provide timed broadcasts on your stream so allow people to tune in at a known time to listen to pre-set programming.
How does the scheduling system work?
In order to use the StreamSolutions CDS scheduling system you need to have it enabled if you allready have a cds server or purchase the CDS with scheduling enabled.
We have added some new features to allow scheduled tracks to be played after, rather than interrupting, the current track. This is selectable in the control panel under Enable Schedule Post Play and the default is to interrupt the current track at the specified time.
Also added timed song title data functionality. If you have a file, MP3 or AAC, which is a mix of several songs and want the song title to change as the the track changes you can use this feature. This feature is only available via Shoutcast/Icecast CDS.
There is an additional monthly charge for this which is £3 per month for Shoutcast & £5 per month for Windows Media.
