How to get started with your Dj Switching.
As the windows media servers now incorporate windows dj switching here is a few pointers to help you underway. Publishing points are now in the format of.
- your publishing point_dj_1
- your publishing point_dj_2
- your publishing point_dj_3 (if you have purchased additional connection points)
If you have connected to your server and hear the back up file playing this is because you have not selected the correct source in the windows administration area of your windows server,

We have added our own generic back up file and if you want to add your own back up file you can log into the stream panel and upload it in your stream configuration, it is recommended to keep it as the same format/bitrate of your stream and only 1mb of size or less.
Log in with your username and password that was sent out in your purchase emails and select the source you require. eg you can choose from:
- Backup file
- CDS (if purchased)
- Dj1 or Dj2

Once you select your source in the administration panel you and your listeners will be able to hear it on your server.
If for any reason you find that you are not happy with the dj switching or are having troubles then you can drop us an email and we can revert it back to the single user windows server if you wish.
