Flash Media Server Stream Panel Breakdown.

Here is a breakdown of our Flash Media Server stream panel so you can learn all of the functions available to you.

Account ID

WURJXXXX is your account ID sent to you in your sign up emails.

Account Name

The Account Name you signed up with.

Stream Type

Flash.

Stream Bitrate

This is the bitrate you have purchased.

Stream Slots

This is the amount of concurrent connections you have available.

Stream FMS URL

This is the Flash Media Server URL otherwise known as a Publishing Point,
The FMS URL is for you to choose upon purchase and must be alpha-numeric.

Admin Password

Administration / source password to stream to the server.

Statistics Available

This will enable the graphical listener statistics in the stream panel.

Enable Logging

This will enable the stream logging service which creates logs that are available at http://logs.streamsolutions.co.uk

Statistics Relay Enable (MPM)

This will enable you to collect stats with Media Point Manager available with software such as Sam and Simplecast

MPM Password

This sets the password for media Point Manager

Source type

Allows you to select the required source type,
Eg. Live Flash Source / Shoutcast DSP / Relay Shoutcast / Relay Icecast / Relay Flash Server

Clients disconnects when source drops

Set Yes / No for disconnection of listeners when source disconnects.

Forced Disconnect Time

Set timer for listeners to be disconnected Eg 120 Minutes

Only allow Secure Connections

Set Yes / No Anti Stream Ripping / RTMPE encoded streaming to stop flash rippers
This gives the ability to only provide connections which are 128Bit encrypted so making it much harder for listeners/viewers to record the stream.

Only Allow specific SWF to play

This allows you to specify the URL of where the .swf player is used from and anyone using any other swf will not be able to listen/watch the Flash stream

Only Allow specific web location to play

This allows you to specify the location of where listeners/viewers must have been before loading the swf file, ie. they must have loaded the link via the URL given.
