Shoutcast Stream Panel Breakdown.

Here is a breakdown of our shoutcast stream panel so you can learn all of the functions available to you.

Statistics Enabled

Enable the graphical statistics which can be viewed in the stream panel under Account information > Statistics Enable Logging.

Enable Logging

Enables the W3c logs to be stored in the Logs site for you to collect 24 hours after completion.

Stream Frequency / Channels

These settings need to match your stream for the uploading of intro and backup files.

Source DSP Password

The password you and your Dj will use for streaming to the shoutcast server

Admin Password

The password you will use to log into the admin area of the server, The username is always admin

Title Format

Specifies a format string for what title is sent to the listener

URL Format

Specifies a format string for what url is sent to the listener

Reserved IP Mode

Will only allow IP addresses listed in the Reserved IP list to connect and relay

DNS Lookups

Looks up an IP address and get the corresponding domain name

Forced Disconnect Time

Is a value in minutes of maximum permitted time for a listener to be connected

Anti-Ripping Enabled

Enables Anti Stream Ripping options to protect your stream from stream ripping software

Intro Enabled

Allows an mp3 file to be streamed to listeners right when they connect before they hear the live stream. Note that the intro file MUST be the same frequency/channels as the live stream in order for this to work properly configurable above

Backup Enabled

Allows an a mp3 file to be streamed to listeners over and over again when the source stream disconnects, The listeners are rejoined into the live broadcast.

Relay Another Server

Specify that you want to be a relay server.

Relay Source IP

Enter your Source Ip Address here

Relay Source Port

Enter your Source Port Number here.

Relay Mountpoint

Enter the Source Mountpoint here

Relay Meta Data

Determines if the source information is relayed.

Public Server

Determines your listing at dir.xiph.org

Allow Relay Server

If you do not want other people relaying your station select this option.
