Windows Media Stream Panel Breakdown.
Here is a breakdown of our windows media stream panel so you can learn all of the functions available to you.
Statistics Enabled
Enable the graphical statistics which can be viewed in the stream panel under Account information > Statistics
Enable Logging
Enables the W3c logs to be stored in the Logs site for you to collect 24 hours after completion.
Stream Username
This is the username you need stream the Windows Media Server
Publishing Point
The publishing point name that is chosen by you for your stream. Eg, our server is called http://212.72.195.19/streamsolutions
Statistics Relay Enable(MPM)
Enables Media Point Manager style statistics for your streaming server.
Single/Multi-DJ Mode
Allows single dj or multi dj modes to be used on the server allowing one or more djs to be connected.
Source/Relay 1 Publishing Point Type
Choose between pushing to a windows media server or the windows media server pulling from your encoder
Require Username/Password
determines the windows media servers need for a username and password for the encoder to connect to the server
Pull/Relay IP Address
the Ip address that you want the windows media server to pull from
Pull/Relay Port/Path
the port / publishing point that you want the WMS server to pull from
Source/Relay 2 Publishing Point Type
As above used in multi dj mode
Source DSP Password
The password you and your Dj will use for streaming to the windows media server.
Admin Password
The password you will use to log into the admin area of the server, The username is always admin or your stream username.
Backup Enabled
Allows a file to be streamed to listeners over and over again when the source stream disconnects, The listeners are rejoined into the live broadcast.
Backup File
Upload your back up file here, these must be no more than 1Mb in size and should be the same bitrate / frequency and channel when uploaded
